An assault on the logistics business DP World has been referred to be a “nationally significant cyber incident” by Australia’s National Cyber Security Coordinator.
Due to the attack, late last Friday, DP World’s technology was unavailable at four Australian ports. When this article was written, the facilities were still closed.
Although not all products entering or leaving the nation have been halted, the event has had a substantial impact on the large logistics operator, who handles forty percent of the containers entering Australia’s ports. Residents have received assurances from authorities that essential supplies will arrive.
