Researchers from AMD and Graz University of Technology have discovered a brand-new AMD CPU vulnerability known as CacheWarp, or CVE-2023-20592 (via ComputerBase). This attack takes use of a security flaw in EPYC server CPUs that is meant to make them harder to hack. AMD has only released a microcode fix for third generation Milan processors, while the vulnerability impacts first through third generation EPYC CPUs (Naples, Rome, and Milan).
