Once again, NordPass has published its yearly list of the most popular passwords. While some of you appear to have taken last year’s criticism seriously, the majority of you may have traded in terrible things for better.
The top password fail from the previous year, “password,” dropped to number seven, but prior leaders are still in the top ranks, according to password management provider NordPass, which is well aware of the low quality of passwords.
The most well-liked number worldwide was “123456,” which was followed by “admin,” the ultra-secure “12345678,” and its cousin “123456789.” In general, strings of consecutive numbers consisting of four to ten characters, beginning with the number one, were high on the list. UNKNOWN was one password that separated out from the others; in fact, most passwords ranked highly on NordPass.
